Towards Effective Mining Accountability in Mali
SOS ENVIRONNEMENT MALI (Plateforme Communautaire de Veille Environnementale et Sociale dans les Zones minières)
Implemented in Naréna between November 2025 and March 2026 as part of the Accountability Lab Mali accountability incubator, this project is SEAM's first major initiative. It aimed to improve the monitoring of environmental standards, strengthen citizen participation and promote more responsible mining governance in the localities of Naréna, Bayan, Sébécourani and Kulaka.
